GNITS established the Centre of Excellence for Internet of Things with AICTE MODROBS Fund in CSE Department during 2017. This lab is set up with MOU in association with Smart Bridge educational institutions. A Center of Excellence (CoE) dedicated to the Internet of Things (IoT) typically serves as a specialized hub within an organization, focused on advancing and optimizing IoT-related initiatives. The primary objective of an IoT Center of Excellence is to facilitate innovation, research, development, and deployment of IoT technologies to drive business value. The center is established to upgrade the skill among students that eventually lead to innovation in the technology areas and development of smart systems with commercial value. IoT Centre of Excellence provides a platform for students and faculty to work closely with the industry and utilize both the resources in the best possible manner. The lab is facilitated with 34 systems and IoT kits worth Rs. 6 Lakhs to develop projects.

Objectives

  • To facilitate innovation, research, development, and deployment of IoT technologies to drive business value.
  • Provide training and skill development programs for employees and students to enhance their knowledge and expertise in IoT technologies.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among teams, departments, and external partners to leverage collective expertise in IoT development, deployment, and maintenance.
