Certificate of Appreciation 2023 Award for ECE, GNITS from Mathworks for continuous support in adopting MATLAB and SIMULINK in the curriculum, student projects and research.

2 students got second place in Smart India Hackathon’2023, 1 Student received Gold Medal in NASA Space Hackathon at Chandigarh University, 1 student placed 2nd prize in PALS – TuTr Hyperloop Hackathon at PALS and TuTr Hyperloop, 2 students placed at final place in Makeathon, OpenWeaver & ASHINE and 1 student got placed 4th in Greenbiz Hackathon,GNITS.
18 students have completed NPTEL certification courses and 5 students have completed the online certification courses.
67 (39.18 %) students got placed (with 76 multiple offers) in top MNCs.
Chidvilasya Sannithi (18-22 Batch), Alumnae, currently working as Application Engineer at synopsys won the SEED 2.0 for the year 2023 at Synopsys, south asia. She is chosen as
University campus ambassador for GNITS.
2 Alumnae students given Guest Lecture on “Job Opportunities in Airport Authorities of India” and on “Resume Preparation & Career Opportunities in MBA”.
Entrepreneur Development Cell conducted 2 events on “Activation Event of Nenu Super Women Show in Aha TV” and “Panel Discussion on “Student to Start-up Journey”.

AICTE sponsored (3.69 Lakhs) STTP program on ‘Embedded systems in IoT’was conducted successfully from 25/11/2019 to 30/11/2019.
AICTE sponsored Vector Network Analyzer worth of 14 Lakhs purchased as a part of Center of Excellence in Antenna Radiation Pattern Analysis.
Seed money of 3 Lakhs was sanctioned to work on R&D projects

2 Students of 3rd year ECE got 1st prize in JHUB& MHRD associated 36Hr Hackathon in GNITS on 31st Jan and 1st Feb 2020.
3rdyear students bagged first prize worth25000/- in Aikya 48 Hr Hackathon conducted by Sree Nidhi Institute of Science and Technology, HYD
Skill Development Programs such as Python, Linux, coding in Java and C etc with hands on sessions were conducted for 3rd and 2nd year students.
3rd year students secured I Prize along with a cash Prize of amount 10,000/- in Start Up Pitch (Ideathon) conducted by VNRVJIT Convergence Fest conducted on 26/09/2019 and 27/09/2019.
24 Hr hackathon was conducted for about 50 students on 14/3/20 and 15/3/20 in ‘Data Science’in association with Brain O Vision.

5 students (Kota Akshita, Illuru Sahitya, A.Sai Naga Rekha ,Gopu Vedika,Cherukupalli Harika) have won first prize(investment award of Euros 20000 i.e., Rs.17 Lakhs) in Aegon Life Insurance Hackathon across Asean Region in Mumbai.
Swathi 3rd year ECE student got Nritya Siromani award in Nrityamala Academy on the occasion of Nrityapaasana on 1-1-2019 in Ravindrabharathi. She was qualified for the 2nd round Engineering Hackathon by Dept of Sceience tand Technology and Texas Instruments .She along with CSE students also won first prize in VNRVJIET Hackathon worth Rs.50,000.
3 students from 3rd years ( Maneesha,G.Sowmya,T.Tejaswini from ECE ) won 2nd prize worth Rs.10000 in Indian Institute of Rice research Hackathon on 9th and 10th Feb 2019

B. Venkateshulu and a batch of students applied for a Patent titled ‘System and Methods for Monitoring & Forecasting Physiological Conditions’. Got approval for MODROBS from AICTE worth Rs. 19,31,000.
Dept got the approval for conducting AICTE sponsored Short Term Training Program (STTP) for Rs.4,80,000.
The department applied for 3 DST projects and one FIST Proposal worth 70 Lakhs.
