TASK – 1

DIVISION NAME: Street Cause GNITS
TASK NAME: Mask Distribution Drive
TASK VENUE: Streets of Rethibowli, Gudimalkapur, Langerhuz, Tolichowki, Bandlaguda and NIMS Hospital.
EVENT SUMMARY: As the confirmed cases of COVID-19 continue to rise, it is becoming increasingly clear that all the people should be wearing masks. It can be said that the mask has now become an essential commodity. However, some people can’t afford them. So, we the Street Cause members from all the divisions have initiated “Mask Donation Drive.” As part of the drive, the Street Cause GNITS representatives have distributed masks to the destitute.
“A mask is not just protection, it’s a lifeline.”
TASK – 2
TASK DATE: 5th August, 2020
DIVISION NAME: Street Cause GNITS
TASK NAME: RFC Phase -1
TASK VENUE: Gollaguda, Chevella, Vikarabad
EVENT SUMMARY: We have provided the old people of Yenkapally village with walking sticks to help them confront the problem with their walking caused due to postural disorders. We did this, hoping that the walking sticks would grant them the freedom of movement and enable them to live a life of independence.

TASK DATE: 6th August, 2020

TASK NAME: RFC Phase-1 Water Tank
TASK VENUE: Gollaguda, Chevella, Vikarabad
EVENT SUMMARY: Water is life, and clean water means health. We have helped the villagers of Yenkapally in the construction of a mini water tank through which they can confront the problem of water scarcity, especially in times of crisis. This shall provide the entire village with sufficient, safe drinking water.

Task name: Distribution of groceries
Task venue: Care Warriors Foundation, Sagar Road, Hyderabad
Event summary: No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
We’ve extended our helping hand to the children of Care Warriors Foundation by providing groceries as the children here were suffering due to the unaffordability of groceries in this time of crisis. We also spent quality time with the kids by interacting with them while maintaining social distance.

Task name: Project Pragathi
Task venue: Nidmanoor, Nalgonda
Event summary: Health is wealth.
We conducted a medical camp in Nidmanoor village of Nalgonda district with the help of 5 doctors. The doctors treated the villagers suffering from joint pains, diabetes, gynaecology problems, and various other skin diseases. Acupuncture and acupressure were carried out simultaneously. Appropriate medicines were given to the villagers and corresponding remedies were suggested by the doctors to ensure the wellbeing of the villagers which in turn would safeguard them from suffering adverse health complications in the future. An immunity medicine was also provided to shield the villagers against coronavirus.

Task 2: Stationery Distribution
Task venue: Nidmanoor, Nalgonda
Event summary: Giving is not just about making a donation, it’s about making a difference.
We distributed stationery to the students of Telangana Primary school located in Nalgonda district. Each student was given a personalized set of stationery to enhance their interest in learning. This provision shall help them to focus more on their studies as they would no longer have to share the stationery among themselves.

Task name: Health Awareness Program
Task venue: Nidmanoor, Nalgonda
Event summary: Health is like money; we never have a true idea of its value until we lose it.
We conducted a Health Awareness program for the benefit of the villagers of Nidmanoor in Nalgonda district. The program included speeches which generated cognizance on immunity building against Coronavirus. The speeches enlightened the villagers on personal health and hygiene which in turn shall help in empowering their community against the spread of Coronavirus. The program facilitated the rural people to lead a healthy life.

Task venue: Telangana Primary School, Nalgonda
Event summary: Personality Development is a major time saver. The better you become, the less time it takes to achieve your goals.
We held a Personality Development Program for the students of Telangana Primary School located in Nalgonda district. Since it’s a remote village, the students here were not acquainted with social skills and other aspects of personality development. We presented a PPT by interacting with them and inculcated basic social skills and educated them on the whys and hows of developing their personality. This program played a vital role in shaping their future.

Task name: Food distribution in Warangal
Task number: 10
Task venue: Warangal
Event summary: As the monsoon rains lashed various parts, Warangal is one city that got badly hit by getting submerged in floodwaters. Several localities of Warangal have been inundated in this process. We alleviated the suffering of the affected people here by providing them food with the help of our acquaintances in Warangal enabling them to sustain in this time of crisis. We sponsored the food distribution for a week.
