The Games and Sports committee was constituted comprising both staff and students to support the activities of department of Physical Education.  The members of the committee are as follows:

Functions of the Committee

•  To develop and maintain the sports infrastructure/ facilities.
•  To procure required sports and fitness equipment.
•  To prepare and monitor the sports teams for different inter college/ inter university/ state/ national level tournaments.
•  To create awareness about the importance of physical activity/ sports and motivating students towards the physical activity/ sports.
•  To organize intra-college and inter-college competitions at the college and encourage the students to participate actively in organizing and conducting various indoor and outdoor sports and games in the college.
•  To maintain records of sports and games events attended by students within the college, within the university and outside at the region/state /national level and their achievements/ awards.
• To submit annual report on the sports/ events and budget allocations & spent during the year.

• The composition of the committee compromises one senior faculty member as a coordinator.
• One faculty from each department as a Member.
• One or Two students from each department with those who are interested / participated in Sports and Games events as a Student Member.
