Facilities at GNITS Hostels

Accommodation

Well-ventilated rooms, with both attached and common washrooms, furnished with cots, study tables, bookshelves, study chairs, cabinets, and cupboards

Health and Wellness

In addition to the health center, services of a nutritionist are available to offer a balanced diet. General medicines are available throughout the day in a first-aid box.

Recreation & Technology

An open gym, prayer/yoga hall, and a visitors’ lounge are available for students. Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the hostel premises.

Rules and Regulations

A minimum of 85% attendance is mandatory for hostel residents. Students must be within the hostel premises by 7:00 PM and in their rooms by 9:30 PM.

Students may leave the hostel premises with appropriate permissions, as outlined by hostel rules.

Day scholars are not permitted in the hostel, and residents are expected to maintain cleanliness and good discipline at all times.

Breakfast: 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM (Holidays: 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM)
Lunch: 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM (Holidays: 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM)
Snacks: 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
Dinner: 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM

Mess Timings should be followed strictly.
TV is turned on while food is served
Non Veg. including egg and fast food items are prohibited in hostel premises.
Only Vegetarian food is served in the hostel. No outside food is allowed in the hostel.

Visitors are allowed only on holidays, with specific morning and evening visiting hours. Parents can visit once a month.
Boarders are permitted to visit their parents or local guardian’s house twice in a month and that too not for more than 3-days.
Water and Power should be used as per the need, without wastage

Boarders should maintain good discipline in the hostels and also should maintain neatness in their respective rooms

Morning Session: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Evening Session: 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm
Parents visit is permitted only once in a month
