- AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION:
- To encourage the members to take active interest in the activities and the progress of the alma mater.
- To bring the alumnae together to keep them contact with each other as well as the alma mater.
- To promote career guidance, interaction with industry and continuing education.
- To foster relationship between the alumnae and the present students.
- To get participation of alumnae in the developmental activities of the college.
- To develop Industry Institute Interaction through alumnae members.
- To improve placement opportunities for the fellow alumnae and fresh graduates.
- To provide guest lectures on academic as well as industry needs to the present batch of students with a view to exchange the latest developments in the field of Engineering and Technology.
- To institute merit cum means based scholarships for the needy and deserving students of the college.
- To mobilize donations from the Members and others for charitable purposes for the benefit of citizens of this country in the event of natural calamities like earthquake, flood etc.
- MEMBERSHIP:
All students who have studied at and passed out from the engineering college shall be the members of the association. The life membership fee is Rs.1000/- payable at one time.
- PATRON:
The Chairman of G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad will be the patron of the association.
- ADVISORY COMMITTEE:
The Principal, Dean-Alumnae Relations and HOD’s of all the Departments of G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad will be the members of the advisory committee.
- EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE:
- Executive Committee consists of 7 (seven) members, constituted once in three years as follows.
- President
- Vice-President
- General Secretary
- Joint Secretary
- Treasurer
- Two (2) executive members
- Quorum of the meetings of the Executive Committee shall be half of the strength of the committee.
- The Executive Committee shall meet atleast once in every 3 months.
- GENERAL BODY:
- All the members of the Alumnae Association will constitute the General Body of the Association. General body of the association shall normally meet in the month of January every year.
- Functions of General body meeting:
- The office bearers shall be elected once in every 3 years at the annual general body meeting which shall be convened in the month of January every year.
- General body is a supreme authority and the decisions taken in the body will be the final.
- The Annual balance sheet of accounts has to be passed in the general body meeting.
- General body shall plan and apart work for next year.
- A notice of general body meeting should be issued at least 21 days in advance to all the members. Date, place of meeting and agenda should be mentioned in the notice.
- QUORUM:
The Quorum for the general body meeting shall be minimum 50% of the total members of the association.
- REMOVAL AND DISQUALIFICATION OF A MEMBER:
Any member who is foundby a duly appointed committee of the GNITS Alumnae Association, to be acting in a manner detrimental to the aims and objectives of the association will be disqualified.
- PRIVACY & SECURITY:
Alumnae Association and college will never disclose alumnae information to anyone. All information is strictly guarded for use by individual alumnae and the alumnae association for personal and college related purposes only.
- AREA OF OPERATION: The Association will function all over in India and abroad.
- FUNCTIONS OF THE OFFICE BEARERS:
Office Bearers of the Association Executive Committee shall be consisting of the following 7 members. The term of the office bearers will be 3 years.
- PRESIDENT: A President shall be elected by the members of the general body of the association. She shall preside over all the meetings of the association. All the policies and programs shall be formulated and implemented only through her. She is the sole in charge of the association and she can advise/guide on all matters pertaining to the administration of the association.
- VICE PRESIDENT: A Vice-President shall be elected by the members of the general body of the association Vice President of the association shall assist President in general. She shall act as a President in the absence of President.
- GENERAL SECRETARY: A General Secretary shall be elected by the members of the general body of the association and shall be responsible for functioning and execution of administration of the association. She is responsible to run all the business of the association. She has to maintain the records and documents of the association.
- JOINT SECRETARY: A Joint Secretary shall be elected by the members of the general body of the association. She has to help the General Secretary in all matters of the association. In the absence of General Secretary, she shall assume the charge of General Secretary.
- TREASURER: A Treasurer shall be elected by the members of the general body of the association. It is the responsibility of the treasurer to maintain the finances of the association under the supervision and guidance of the executive committee.
- EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS: Executive committee members are important part of the Association. Executive committee member is supposed to attend all meetings of the association. They shall assist treasurer in collecting funds from the members of the association. They can suggest President and General Secretary in all other matters of the association.
- TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE OFFICE BEARERS:
` The affairs of the association shall be managed by the Executive Committee consisting of President, Vice-President, General Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and Executive members representing various departments. All the office bearers and members of the Executive Committee shall be elected by the general body of the association and shall hold the office for a term of 3 years.
- FILLING UP OF VACANCIES OF OFFICE BEARERS:
Any vacancy of the office bearer arising out of any reason can be filled up by way of co-option by the executive committee for the balance of the term.
- FUNDS:
The funds of the association mainly comprise the lifetime membership feepaid by the members. And other sources are donations, gifts, grant in aid andspecial contributions. The funds of the association shall be deposited in a nationalized bank and shall be maintained by General Secretary and Treasurer.An auditor who is not a member of the executive committee and who is elected by the general body shall audit the accounts of the association annually. An Alumnae Guest House is proposed to be built in GNITS Hostel premises for the accommodation of alumnae guests. Funds will be raised for this purpose.
- FACILITIES: The campus facilities such as sports & Games, Play Ground , Library are open to alumnae and their kids . The entry is based on the ID card of Alumnae .
- AMENDMENT:
Amendments of the constitution suggested by the General Body Meeting shall be made by 3/5 majorities of the members present in the General Body.
- ALUMNAE DAY:
Every year alumnae day shall be celebrated on the first Saturday of January, synchronizing with the general body meeting.
- DISSOLUTION:
If the Association has to be wound up the property and funds of association that will remain after full satisfaction of the liabilities of the Association will be transferred or paid to some other Association with similar aim and objectives by the Executive Committee.
Alumnae Meet Report – 2026
The Alumnae Meet TU-TURNO 26 was successfully organized on
24th January 2026 at the GNITS campus in the main seminar hall.
A total of 730 alumnae registered for the event, and
320 members actively participated. The event served as a vibrant
platform to reconnect alumnae with their alma mater and to strengthen lifelong bonds
within the GNITS community.
The campus was beautifully decorated with the active support of students. The program
commenced with registrations from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the
registration desk.
Departmental activities were conducted from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM,
during which alumnae visited their respective departments. They interacted with students,
faculty, and staff, shared professional experiences, delivered talks, and provided guidance
on career growth, placements, higher education, and industry expectations. These interactions
were highly inspiring and informative for the students.
A sumptuous lunch was served from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
Post lunch, the event resumed with an energetic flash mob performance from
2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, setting a lively tone for the proceedings.
The Inaugural Session began at 3:00 PM with a warm Welcome Note by
Ms. Y. Chandrika Priya (III ECE-C) and
Ms. Chinmai Madugula (III EEE-A). This was followed by the
Annual Report presentation by Mrs. K. Swathi, Secretary, Alumnae
Association, highlighting the activities and achievements of the association.
The Inaugural Address was delivered by Smt. G. Srividya Reddy,
Vice-Chairperson, GNITS and President, Alumnae Association, emphasizing the importance
of alumnae engagement in institutional development.
A graceful classical dance performance by
Ms. Navya Likhitha Garikapati (ECE, 2017–21) added elegance to the program.
The Guest Session titled “2026: Her Financial Freedom” was delivered by
Mrs. Anjali Manda, Founder – Moneymati, from
3:10 PM to 3:40 PM. The session provided valuable insights into financial
planning, independence, and empowerment for women.
The dignitaries’ addresses were delivered by Dr. K. Ramesh Reddy,
Principal, and Dr. B. Venkateshulu, Dean (ARHE), appreciating the efforts
of the Alumnae Association and the continued support of alumnae.
This was followed by the release of the Coffee Table Book, a collection
of articles and cherished memories of alumnae. The book was unveiled by
Mrs. G. Srividya Reddy, Dr. K. Ramesh Reddy, Dr. B. Venkateshulu, Dr. B. Sushma,
Mrs. K. Swathi, Dr. P. Sreesudha, along with all Heads of Departments and Deans.

The Silver Jubilee Batch was felicitated during the Honoring Ceremony from
4:00 PM to 4:30 PM by the faculty members who taught the first batch.
Eleven alumnae attended the ceremony and honored the faculty by presenting saplings,
symbolizing gratitude, growth, and enduring bonds.
A classical dance performance by Ms. Sruti and Team was presented,
followed by a vibrant Musical Evening Session by film singer alumna
Ms. Shivani Pisupati (ECE, 2018–22) and film singer
Sri Sai Charan, which enthralled the audience.
The program concluded with the Vote of Thanks by
Mrs. M. Akshita Reddy, Vice-President, Alumnae Association,
followed by refreshments.
TU-TURNO 26 was a grand success, marked by active participation,
meaningful interactions, cultural excellence, and inspiring sessions. The enthusiastic
involvement of the Silver Jubilee Batch added pride, legacy, and emotional significance
to the event. Overall, the meet strengthened the bond between alumnae and their alma mater
and reaffirmed the vital role of alumnae in mentoring and supporting future generations of GNITS.






Alumnae Meet Report – 2025
The Alumnae Meet (TU-TURNO 2025) was conducted on 18th January 2025 at the GNITS campus in the lawns near the Admin Block. A total of 700 alumnae registered for the event, and 325 members actively participated.
The campus was beautifully decorated with the help of student members from the Alumnae Coordination Committee. The event commenced with a warm welcome for the alumnae. They were warmly received and guided to their respective departments, where they delivered speeches, guest lectures, and interacted with students. They also shared their experiences and provided valuable insights to students regarding placements and higher education opportunities. Additionally, they engaged with teaching and non-teaching staff members during their departmental visits.
Then a sumptuous lunch followed between 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM.
Post lunch, Dr.P.Sreesudha, Alumnae Association Secretary, addressed the alumnae and presented a detailed report on the activities of the Alumnae Association.

The students of GNITS performed a vibrant flash mob as part of the entertainment program. Following this, the alumnae were requested to fill out a survey and feedback form to aid in the enhancement of academic activities at the institute. The event concluded with a high tea session, and all alumnae received gifts before dispersing.
The Alumnae Meet 2025 was a grand success, fostering meaningful interactions and strengthening the bond between alumnae and their alma mater.

Akhila Geddhada

Cloud Support Engineer, Amazon
Akhila Geddhada is an emerging cybersecurity and cloud support professional, currently serving as a Cloud Support Engineer at Amazon. With a diverse background spanning cloud computing, cybersecurity, and compliance, she brings a unique blend of technical acumen and hands-on experience across both public and private sectors.
She worked with PwC in the Cyber Risk and Regulatory domain, where she focused on compliance auditing and risk management strategies for corporate clients—an experience that laid the groundwork for a transition into cloud infrastructure. This was followed by with an early interest in cybersecurity, she gained foundational exposure working with the Telangana Police’s SHE Cyber Lab, where she joined as an intern while doing her last semester of her Masters where they contributed to real-time cybercrime investigations and awareness initiatives.
In 2025, she joined Amazon as a Cloud Support Engineer, where they are actively engaged in troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems, supporting cloud-based applications, and ensuring optimal performance for enterprise clients. In 2024, Akhila received the Best Paper Award at the ICHAMST-2024 international conference which was part of her M.Tech thesis which was focused on brain tumor detection, highlighting their capability in applying AI for real-world problem-solving.

My Journey from GNITS to a Global Career in Engineering and Analytics
Hello, I am Mirdoddi Archana Sai, and I’m thrilled to share my journey from G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Sciences (GNITS) to where I am today—a Data Analytics Engineer at Wells Fargo. My path has been shaped by determination, lifelong learning, and the invaluable support of mentors and peers along the way.
The Foundation at GNITS
My academic journey began at GNITS, where I pursued a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and had the honor of serving as the Class Representative for my batch. My leadership role not only helped me build strong relationships with my peers and faculty but also honed my organizational and problem-solving skills.
At GNITS, I excelled academically and actively participated in technical competitions, poster presentations, and workshops. These experiences helped me develop a strong foundation in engineering and a passion for innovation.
I was proud to achieve the distinction of being the topper of my class. This achievement reinforced my belief in hard work and perseverance.
Global Learning and Advanced Studies
Eager to expand my knowledge, I pursued a Master’s in Information Systems at the University of North Texas (UNT), USA. During my time at UNT, I was recognized with a Certification of Appreciation for my exceptional academic performance and contributions to the university community.
Professional Journey: From Engineering to Data Analytics
My professional career began at Accenture and Wipro and later worked for Delta as a Production Test Engineer, where I worked on developing and implementing rigorous testing protocols for high-performance electrical systems. This role sharpened my technical expertise and gave me hands-on experience in solving complex engineering challenges.
Building on this foundation, I transitioned into the field of data analytics. Today, I serve as a Data Analytics Engineer at Wells Fargo, where I play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive business decisions.
