Admission Categories

Category ‘A’ Seats (70% of Intake)

Allocated by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) through the EAMCET and ECET exams.

Category ‘B’ Seats (30% of Intake)

Managed by the college, based on merit, and as per TSCHE guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech Programs

1st Year Admission: Intermediate Exam (10 +2) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Candidates must qualify in the EAMCET exam.
2nd Year Lateral Entry: Diploma in Engineering/Technology. Candidates must qualify in the ECET exam.

M.Tech Programs

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Candidates must qualify in the PGECET or GATE exam.

Admission Process

Notification and Application:
- Notifications are issued through popular news dailies and the college website.
- Application forms can be downloaded or collected from the college.
Selection and Merit List:
- Applications are scrutinized, and a merit list is prepared.
- The final list of admitted candidates is forwarded to TSCHE for approval.
Transparency:
- Admission allotments are made based on an online/e-option mechanism ensuring transparency.

Reservation Policies

Local Candidates

85% of seats are reserved for local candidates.

SC/ST/BC Communities

Reservation as per government norms: 15% for SC, 6% for ST, and 29% for BC (divided among different groups).

Special Categories

Seats are reserved for candidates distinguished in NCC, sports, extra-curricular activities, and children of Ex-Servicemen.
Additional reservations apply for Physically Challenged and Women candidates.

Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Reservation

10% of seats are reserved for EWS candidates as per government guidelines.
