Industry visit to Unistring Technologies on 25/10/2025
An industrial visit to Unistring Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (UTS), Kondapur, Hyderabad, on 25th October 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. B.Tech and M.Tech students participated in the visit, aimed at gaining practical exposure to advanced technologies in RADAR and simulators, embedded systems, and defence communication systems.
During the visit, the UTS technical team explained their work in Electronic Warfare systems, FPGA-based design, VLSI prototyping, real-time embedded systems, and signal processing, along with demonstrations of hardware design, simulation, and testing. Students also learned the application of Verilog/VHDL, SoC design, and embedded programming in defence and aerospace systems, and gained insights into current industry trends and research challenges.

Industry Visit to Silicon Labs:

As the part of MoU with GNITS, M.Tech WMC students and A. Chandra Shaker, Asst. Professor from ETM department visited Silicon Labs located in Sattva Knowledge City, Hyderabad on 18th March, 2025. Mr. N. Venkatesh, Sr. Director of Engineering, Silicon Labs provided an engaging session of company’s work on wireless device boards and an insightful tour of their cutting-edge hardware, software, and testing facilities. This industrial visit provided WMC students with valuable industry exposure, helping them connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications in wireless and IoT technologies.
National Remote Sensing Center(NRSC):

Industrial visit to NRSC (National Remote Sensing center) was organized on 17/03/25 for second year students ETM department. The objective of the visit was to provide a technical exposure to the students about Indian Space technology. The event was successful, with 46 participants of ETM , including faculty members Dr. T. Sunitha Reddy and Dr. M.Vijaya Lakshmi.
The resource person effectively conveyed valuable insights on GSLV and PSLV satellites, geostationary satellites, rockets, and various launch vehicles. Students shared their feedback, highlighting the impact and insights gained from the industrial visit

Industrial Visit to AHUJA ENGINEERING SERVICES PVT LTD




The department of Electronics and Telematics Engineering organized a one-day industrial visit on 22 February 2023 to Ahuja Engineering services PVT LTD. for B. Tech III year ETE students, in order to gain the knowledge regarding “Waste management” as it is very essential for sustainable development. The visit was organized with the prior permission and guidance of Prof. Dr. K. Rama Linga Reddy, HOD, ETE. Dr. A. Naveena Asst. Prof., Mr. G. Krishna Reddy Assoc. Prof, & Mrs. C. Saraswathi, Lab Technician were the faculty co-ordinators for the industrial visit.
About the Industrial visit:
Ahuja Engineering Services is an engineering company that is making India’s solid waste management sector environmentally sustainable and financially viable. Their turnkey products and services offer scientific waste disposal and energy recovery solutions at different scales. The plant is capable of generating 120-150 cubic meters of biogas, the system converts vegetable and food waste to energy. The process also generates good quantities of organic manure. AES – WtE (Ahuja Engineering Services – Waste to Energy Division) offers solutions from concept of completion for setting up waste to energy plants. EPC services are provided for waste management and energy recovery in the form of direct heat, power or Bio-CNG.
Industrial Visit to NRSC-Jeedimetla

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) unit, ECE, ETE departments of GNITS has organized an Industrial visit to “NRSC- Jeedimetla” on 29/03/2023 from 10:00AM to 3:00PM in coordination with Mr. V.V. Ganesh. A total of 106 students including 6 student coordinators of 3rd year ECE and ETE Dept accompanied by 2 faculty coordinators of ECE Dept and 1 faculty coordinator of ETE Dept had visited the NRSC.
The Industrial Visit to NRSC was conducted as a co-curricular event in order to create awareness regarding various Remote Sensing Applications and processing, Aerial Services, data dissemination, and decision support for disaster management.
The Speaker Mr. R. Srinivas, Scientist-SF gave a demo about the establishment of the NRSC and the work done by a satellite. He explained in detail about the Indian evolution in rocket launching and satellite and contribution of different ISROs towards it. Different aspects affecting the rocket launch were also discussed.
Through this industrial visit, students were able to keenly observe the backend work of the satellite and work done by the satellite.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) unit, ECE & ETE department of GNITS has organized an Industrial visit to “ATC AAI SHAMSHABAD” on 18/03/2023 and 27/03/2023 from 10:00AM to 3:00PM for 2 days. On 18/03/2023 a total of 43 students including 3 coordinators of 4th year ECE and ETE Dept accompanied by 2 faculty members of ECE Dept and 2 faculty members of ETE Dept. On 27/03/2023 a total of 53 students including 3 coordinators of 4th year ECE and ETE Dept accompanied by 3 faculty members of ECE Dept had visited the ATC AAI.
About the Industrial visit:
Industrial visit is about the work of an AAI Junior Executive (ATC), is centered around proper functioning of the Airport Traffic and Control and includes tasks such as Monitoring, maintenance of the airplanes through Installation and configuration of computer systems.
In ATC building students visited navigation room, area control room, AWS room and tower of ATC building. The working of the radar system was explained in detail by Dr. A. Ramesh Kumar , Assistant General Manager (CNS).
Through this industrial visit, students were able to keenly observe the backend work happening from the takeoff to landing of an airplane successfully.
