Silicon Labs Centre of Excellence in IoT
The **Center of Excellence for Wireless Sensor Networks** has been renamed as the **Silicon Labs Center of Excellence in IoT** to reflect the evolving landscape of technology and the expanding role of the Internet of Things (IoT). As the capabilities of wireless sensor networks (WSN) have matured, they have become an integral part of the broader IoT ecosystem. The rebranding highlights the center’s commitment to advancing cutting-edge innovations not just in wireless sensor technologies, but also in IoT applications that span diverse industries, including agriculture, healthcare, assistive devices, and environmental monitoring. This transition underscores the center’s expanded focus on pioneering research, development, and real-world applications, driving the future of interconnected devices and intelligent systems.
