Research & Development

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science for women aims at developing the skills of women technocrats to meet the industrial requirements. Research and Development cell was established at EEE Department to inculcate research and innovative skills among faculty and students. R&D Cell provides a platform for creativity and innovation to flourish young minds. The Department of EEE has 9 doctorates and 22 faculty registered Ph.D in different universities. The entire faculty in the department is actively contributing towards the development of Technology.  The organization provides a SEED amount to facilitate basic common research infrastructure for individuals to execute collaborative work. Each department at GNITS have two common platforms, one that transforms ideas to innovations named as I-Cell and the other contributing to research through technological transformations known as R&D Cell. Special Recognition: Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is recognized as a Research Center by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. Objectives of EEE- R&D:
    • To provide the Research interest to the students and faculty by establishing the advanced laboratory facilities required to meet the societal needs.
    • To ignite the young minds by organizing ideathans and hackathons.   
    • To build relationships through MOUs for long term relationships with national and international research organizations and industries for widening the scope of research options and funding opportunities for faculty and students.
    • To facilitate and encourage the faculty for quality publications.
