Department of Humanities & Mathematics
The Discipline of Management Studies organized an Industrial Visit to ALEAP WE HUB for IV B.Tech students during the academic year 2024–25 to promote entrepreneurial mindset and provide practical industry exposure as part of the curriculum. A total of 210 students from all branches actively participated in the visit. The visit was highly insightful, beginning with a seminar on women entrepreneurship and the impactful initiatives of ALEAP in empowering aspiring entrepreneurs. Students interacted with young innovators Mohan Reddy and Vihaan Tari, who shared their journey of developing a robotic trash-collecting boat, launched under the “Young Entrepreneurship – Bridging the Gap” initiative supported by the Atal Incubation Centre at ALEAP WE HUB.

The Industrial visit showcased Jute printing and weaving units, food processing centers, and an in-house aquaculture setup, highlighting ALEAP’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and women-led enterprise development.
BFSI Coordinator, GNITS
1) The Discipline of Management Studies, in collaboration with BFSI Consortium is offering a VAC approved by TGCHE with 20 credits across 4 semesters for II B.Tech II Semester Students. GNITS is among the 20 colleges selected to run this program on Pilot basis.
2) Coordinated BFSI Accelerator Program offered by BFSI Consortium. Around 12 Students have completed the Accelerator Program certification.

The remarkable contributions of GNITS faculty at the *2nd International Conference on Applied Sports 2025, held at the **Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka* on *6th & 7th November 2025.

On the occasion of National Mathematics day Mathclub Aptus Gana in association with Department of Humanities & Mathematics conducted Math π-Rates Inter College EXPO-2025 exclusively for I year B.Tech students across India. The papers presented in the EXPO were published in the form of a magazine MathQuest-2025. The articles, papers, and creative contributions featured in this issue reflect the intellectual curiosity and analytical rigor of I year B.Tech. students.

Department of Humanities & Mathematics organized EXPO on CEEP analysis with the objective of showcasing the beauty, creativity, and real-world applications of mathematics. The event aimed to provide students with a platform to demonstrate their analytical skills, innovative thinking, and project-based learning in various domains of mathematics and English.

SEED PROJECT
A seed project is successfully completed. The details are as follows:
Dr. B Sushma, Associate Professor of English, Principal Investigator; and Mrs. R.Elizabeth Kavita, Assistant Professor of English, Co-Principal Investigator have successfully completed their SEED Project titled, ‘Linguistic Horizons: Empowering Young Voices for a Brighter Tomorrow’ in April 2025. With the guidance and training materials provided by the PI and Co-PI, over ten GNITS student trainers across branches have conducted training sessions for enhancing language competence in 100+ orphans, in and around Hyderabad. Samvidhan Diwas
On the occasion of Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day), G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science organized a Mock Parliament on 26th November 2024,celebrating the spirit of the Indian Constitution and fostering awareness about its significance among students. The event was an engaging simulation of parliamentary proceedings and around 150 students enthusiastically participated by taking on the roles of Prime Minister, Leader of Opposition, ,Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Ministers and Members of Parliament. Through debates and discussions on contemporary issues, the participants demonstrated a strong understanding of constitutional values and democratic processes.
The Mock Parliament aimed to educate students about the legislative process, promote active citizenship, and highlight the importance of constitutional rights and duties. It served as a powerful platform to encourage critical thinking, public speaking, and a deeper appreciation for the framework that governs our nation. Chief Guest, Smt. G. Pallavi, Deputy Secretary to Governor Telangana praised the students for their enthusiasm and encouraged them to take an active role in shaping the nation’s future. The event concluded with a reaffirmation of the Preamble to the Constitution, uniting everyone in the shared commitment to justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

Report on Mock Parliament held at Rastrapathi Nilayam, Hyderabad on 25 Nov,2023

On the occasion of Constitution Day, our students participated in the Mock Parliament session organised by the Rastrapathi Nilayam on 25th November 2023.
The Mock Parliament event provided a platform for aspiring young leaders to engage in meaningful discussions, debates, and legislative processes. It was a great opportunity for our students to showcase their skills and passion for debate and public speaking. More importantly, the event helped the participants to develop social awareness and also develop interest and inclination on contemporary local, national and international issues. By participating in this prestigious event, they not only gained valuable insights into the functioning of a democratic system but also also won prizes.
