Department Overview

The Civil Engineering Department has played a leading role in the development and maintenance of the campus at GNITS. This department, under the leadership of Mr. Rammohan Reddy Head- Civil Engineering Department, has significantly contributed towards the construction and maintenance of the infrastructure of the college. All buildings, landscaping, hardscaping, sports grounds on the campus have been designed and executed with great expertise

Mr. Reddy takes along his rich experience in Engineering Drawing Practice to train the students on all fundamental technical skills. He with his team ensures quality upkeep of facilities in the campus so that students can learn and acquire skills amicably. His effort enriches the educational experience for students studying civil engineering while enabling aesthetic and quality ambiance and functionality on the campus.

The department lays major emphasis on hands-on training; therefore, students are prepared to meet real-world challenges in civil engineering by offering practical insight through campus projects and engineering classes.

Infrastructure

GNITS offers labs to enhance students’ communication and employability skills. The ELCS Lab helps first-year B.Tech students learn English, while the Employability and Soft Skills Lab equips third-year students with professional skills. The SPDC, funded by AICTE, provides targeted training to SC/ST students.
