- -> Design the academic schedule for each semester by considering the requirements of various departments and programs.
- -> Allocating time slots for lectures, laboratory sessions, tutorials, and other academic activities
- -> Ensuring efficient utilization of available resources such as classrooms, laboratories and faculty members and balancing the workload among faculty members and departments to avoid conflicts and overburdening
- -> Coordinating the scheduling of the elective courses and specialized tracks within the curriculum.
- -> Collaborating with various academic departments to understand their specific needs and constraints. Ensuring that departmental preferences and constraints are taken into account when creating timetables.
- -> Ensure that the academic schedule adhere to college regulations and policies.
- -> Communicate the finalised schedule to all stake holders including staff, students and administrative staff and also providing timely updates and information about change adjustment in the schedule.
- -> Develop and maintain the master timetable for the semester.
- -> Collaborate with department heads, faculty members and administrative staff to gather information on course offerings, faculty availability.
- -> Allocate classrooms, laboratories and other resources based on the requirement of the each course.
- -> Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, such as overlapping classes or resource constrains.
- -> Work closely with department heads and faculty to address any issues with related to scheduling conflicts or resource shortages.
- -> Collaborate with different departments to ensure that the overall timetable aligns with different departments to ensure that the overall timetable aligns with the academic goals and requirements of each department.
- -> Communicate effectively with departmental coordinators to gather information on faculty availability and course scheduling preferences.
- -> Manage the allocation of classrooms, laboratories, and other facilities to ensure optimal use of available resources.
- -> Coordinate with faculty management to address any issues related to classrooms or equipment.
- -> Communicate the final timetable to all relevant stakeholders, including faculty, students, and administrative staff. Address inquiries and concerns related to the timetable and make necessary adjustments as required.
- -> Collaborate with relevant stake holders such as department head, teachers and administrators, to gathers information on class offerings, faculty availability, and other scheduling constraints.
- -> Develop a master timetable that accommodates the needs and preferences of various departments, faculty, and students.
- -> Allocate resources efficiently, including classrooms, laboratories, and other facilities and also consider and manage any resource constraints or limitations when creating the schedule.
- -> Identify and resolve conflicts in scheduling, such as overlapping classes, faculty availability issues, or resource conflicts.
- -> Work with relevant parties to find solutions and make necessary adjustments to the timetable.
- -> Communicate the final timetable to all relevant stakeholders, including faculty, students, and administrative staff. Address any concern or questions related to the schedule and provide necessary updates as needed.
- -> Monitor changes in course offerings, faculty availability, or other factors that may impact the timetable and be prepared to make adjustments to the schedule to accommodate changes and unforeseen circumstances.
- -> Gather feedback from faculty and students regarding the timetable, and use this feedback to make improvements for future scheduling cycles.
- -> Work collaboratively with other committee members, administrators, and departments to ensure a coordinated and cohesive schedule.
