GNITS Milestones
Strategic Growth and New Initiatives
GNITS expanded its infrastructure with a third hostel and launched MIRAINXT. New academic programs in AI/ML and Data Science were introduced, and the institution achieved a notable NIRF ranking. The establishment of the School of Innovation and Management (SOIM) marked a significant step toward empowering women in business and technology.
Advancements in Technology
This period saw GNITS achieve its first NAAC accreditation, install solar panels, and establish the IEEE Student Branch. Recognition as an NPTEL Nodal Centre and the launch of a Mac Lab by Tim Cook highlighted its technological advancements. The institution also secured NBA accreditation for multiple programs and established R&D and Innovation Cells.
Expansion of Facilities and Resources
GNITS continued its development by opening an indoor stadium, adding a second hostel, and relocating the library to a permanent location. The opening of the Sri G. Pulla Reddy Memorial further enriched the campus environment.
Infrastructure and Accreditation
During this period, GNITS focused on enhancing campus facilities, including the first in-campus hostel and launching key initiatives like "Sankethika Bharathi." The institution achieved its first ISO certification and NBA accreditation, and established the Entrepreneurship Development Cell.
Foundation and Early Expansion
GNITS was established in 1997 and quickly expanded its infrastructure with new buildings for EEE, CSE, and ECE departments. By 2001, GNITS had formed the Staff Club and Alumnae Association, inaugurated the Admin Block, and laid the groundwork for its growing community.
