  1. The UG program of IT Department is Accredited thrice by NBA e., 2007-2010, 2017-2020 & 2021-2024.
  2. The PG program of IT Department is Accredited twice by NBA e., 2019-2022 & 2022-2025.
  3. MAC Center of Excellence inaugurated by Apple CEO Tim Cook.
  4. The department has 3 Center of Excellence labs.
  5. 5 Technical Clubs are actively operating within the department.
  6. The department achieves an impressive average placement rate of 86% per year.
  7. Department has successfully organized the 5th International Conference in association with Springer.
  8. The department Faculty members has trained the government non-teaching staff in District Administration, Yadadri –              Bhuvanagiri district in computer basic skills.
  9. Conducted 2 ATAL Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) for skill enhancement.
  10. The department has 6 faculty members holding Ph.D., and 14 currently pursuing their Ph.D.

  16. The department faculty has authored 41 books or book chapters, demonstrating their scholarly contributions to the field.

  18. Engaging in impactful projects, the department has undertaken 30 research and consultancy projects, totaling 30 lakh            rupees in funding.
  19. A culture of learning and development is fostered through the organization of 18 workshops, enriching both faculty and         student knowledge.
  20. The department’s dedication to nurturing talent is evident, with 34 students pursuing higher studies or venturing into              entrepreneurship, shaping the future of the industry.

  • S.Ramacharan, Professor, Dr.A.Vijaya Krishna, Asst.Prof got the GNITS SEED grant of 1 Lakhs for the year 2023-24.
  • S.Ramacharan, Professor, Dr.A.Vijaya Krishna, Asst.Prof submitted one innovative work on Keratoconus for TIDE program in September 2023.
  • I.Ravi Prakash Reddy, Professor and Dr.S.Ramacharan, successfully organized 5th Springer International Conference on ICDSMLA on DEC 15th& 16th2023 with 491 papers submissions and 291 papers participated.
  • Dr Supriya Vaddi and D. Vandana received fund of 3.5 Lakhs from AICTE-ATAL for organizing FDP in AY 23-24 under  cyber security.
